Teaching spelling level 3 and 4

Text

Browne, A. 1998. Voices in the Park. Doubleday, London.

Unit Overview

This series of lessons draws on Anthony Browne’s picture story book, Voices in the Park to inform it. The text tells the story of an everyday experience - going to the park - through the eyes of four different gorilla characters.

Via the rich text and visual images, Browne considers the themes of social class and gender.
