Unit overview
This series of lessons draws on a page from an information text which includes written responses to questions about koalas, interesting information, fast facts, and visual images including maps, photos and diagrams.
It is assumed that students are familiar with this text and that the teacher has read the text to and with students for other purposes, such as gathering information or taking notes, before the teacher revisits the text for teaching about spelling as outlined in the possible lesson outlines below.
