    These supports will provide kindergartens with advice, training, coaching and outreach support to promote Aboriginal cultural support within their service. Services should ensure support is tailored to the needs of their local Aboriginal community and run in partnership with relevant community leaders.

    Supports should be provided in accordance with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.

    Moderate ($200-$2,000 per person/item)
    Cost will be determined in consultation with the service provider in your area.

    Implementation Considerations

    Target population: children, families and educators in kindergarten settings who require support in the area of Aboriginal cultural awareness and inclusion.

    Staffing: services should consider the cost of backfill when determining the cost of accessing this resource if this involves offsite training support for educators.

    Factors to consider: services will need to source cultural supports that are appropriate to the local area and community. ​
