Working in Partnership equips participants to identify and employ strategies that support a partnership approach within and across services.
This workshop draws on tools and strategies from the Family Partnership Model, a relational change model that aims to enhance the capacity of parents/carers and practitioners to work together using a partnership approach. The Working in Partnership workshop can be delivered in a three-hour or full-day format. The half-day workshop can be delivered face-to-face or online.
Half-day (3 hour) workshop
Course outcome: Participants can identify and employ strategies that support a partnership approach within and across services.

- Increase understanding of 'engagement' and 'partnership' as concepts that influence practice
- Increase participants' awareness of the worker and service characteristics that support engagement and working in partnership
Full-day workshop
Course outcome: Participants can identify and employ strategies that support a partnership approach within and across services.

Detailed Costs
Half-day (3-hour) workshop:
- Online delivery: $231 per person (incl. GST). Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 participants: $3,465 (incl. GST) per workshop.
- Face-to-face delivery (Metropolitan Melbourne): $245 per person (incl. GST). Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 participants: $3,675 (incl. GST) per workshop plus travel expenses.
- Face-to-face delivery (Regional Victoria within an hour of Melbourne): $245 per person (incl. GST). Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 participants: $3,675 (incl. GST) per workshop plus travel expenses and travel time.
Full-day workshop:
- Online delivery: $420 per person (incl. GST). Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 participants: $6,300 (incl. GST) per workshop.
- Face-to-face delivery (Metropolitan Melbourne): $430 per person (incl. GST). Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 participants: $6,450 (incl. GST) per workshop plus travel expenses.
- Face-to-face delivery (Regional Victoria): $430 per person (incl. GST), per person. Full workshop exclusively for service educators with a minimum of nine and maximum of 15 participants: $6,450 (incl. GST) per workshop plus travel expenses and travel time.

Implementation Considerations
Program/practice description and details: All of CCCH training is participatory and highly interactive. Participants attending online workshops are asked to have cameras turned on throughout the sessions with a preference for one participant per screen.
Program adaptability: there will be some instances where face-to-face delivery is not possible. Face -to-face delivery will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Staffing: services should consider the cost of backfill in determining the cost of accessing this resource.
Supervision/coaching: experience has shown the importance of supervision and mentoring support, through a reflective practice approach, for training participants. Provider offers this to small groups and individuals over the phone (at additional cost).
Australian experience: the course is available throughout Victoria, including in regional and rural areas. To be cost-effective and meet minimum numbers, services in rural and regional areas are encouraged to pool funding and choose a suite of workshops.
Tools and systems: for the online workshops participants will require access to a device (computer or tablet) with microphone and camera functionality to participate fully in this workshop. Ideally participants should be on their own device and not sharing screens with other participants.
For face-to-face workshops the contracting organisation is responsible for the venue and catering. The venue must be able to accommodate participants in a safe environment, allowing for current restrictions around social distancing.
