Banyule Nillumbik Tech School's local hero is Teodora Raducan.
Teodora Raducan is an engineer, Mechatronic and Robotic graduate at La Trobe University. She is the chair of the Women in engineering student chapter at La Trobe University, and president of the IEEE Young Professionals.
Teodora has diverse experience working in the STEM industry from wearable technology, to the business side of engineering.
She emphasises the importance of being able to think innovatively and apply business knowledge in engineering in her career journey.
At the IEEE Student and Young Professional Congress in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, she was able to directly apply all of her knowledge, network, undertake industry tours, work with investors and much more.
Teodora is is an intern with Telstra in the Radio Network Engineering Team and works as a demonstrator for CAD and Solidworks, as well as a teaching assistant for Ideas to Innovation with La Trobe University.
