In Visual Arts, students develop visual and multimodal literacies to understand how artists
- conceptualise and design artworks
- materialise and create artworks
- present artworks.
Students in Visual Arts also learn about the roles of commentators, critics, and curators and “the relationships between the viewer and artworks and how artworks can be displayed to enhance meaning for the viewer” (VCAA, 2017).
