Tier 1: Positive Mental Health Promotion

    Program Description

eSmart Schools is an initiative of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. It aims to reduce harm to student wellbeing, education and relationships associated with bullying and cyberbullying.

The program achieves this by preventing and responding to incidents of bullying and cyber bullying, creating a culture of smart, safe and responsible use of technology, and encouraging and fostering the development of pro-social behaviours across the school community.

    eSmart programs include:
    1. eSmart Schools - supports schools to prepare for cyber risks and cyber bullying.
    2. eSmart Digital Licence+ - a gamified learning experience for students aged 10 to 14 years to build digital intelligence.
    3. Media Literacy Lab - a gamified teaching and learning tool, used in classrooms to equip students aged 12 to 15 years with essential knowledge and skills to navigate and thrive in online environments.
    4. eSmart Connect Workshops - live workshops educating children and young people as well as adults who support them on cyber safety, bullying and wellbeing.
