Description
ACF Resources to Support Partnership with Parents Affected by Trauma is a training session that supports early childhood educators in their communication and engagement with parents who have experienced trauma. The training aims to support educators in their respectful, non-judgemental communication with traumatised parents, and enables educators to provide parents with trauma-informed knowledge in their relationship with their traumatised children. 
The training is a 4-hour online course that includes a pre-training information pack containing videos, handouts, articles, and an interactive live, facilitated presentation.

Detailed Costs
Training: $214.50 per participant (excl. GST)
Travel and accommodation costs will be negotiated with each participating service.
Implementation Considerations
Target population: early childhood educators. 
Program/practice descriptions and details: ACF provides a calendar of dates and times that participants can choose to register for.
Program adaptability: the training program can be delivered online or face-to-face to all early childhood services across Victoria Customised face-to-face training can be offered for interested services.
Staffing: services should consider the cost of backfill when determining the cost of accessing this resource.
Tools and systems: participants attending online training will need access to a device with  internet connection.
