Glasses for Kids Program
Every Prep to Year 3 student at participating schools will get a free vision screening and follow up eye testing and glasses if required.

Learning materials
The Statewide Vision Resource Centre provides materials in alternative format for eligible students with vision impairments.
Some of the centre's services include:
- professional development focusing on support to students with vision impairments including hands-on workshops in access technology, training videos, web conferencing and other on and off campus options
- professional support for visiting teachers and school personnel (VCE and curriculum)
- production of student learning materials in alternative formats (braille, large print, etext or audio)
- development of curriculum materials focusing on areas of the expanded core curriculum for students with vision impairments eg braille, careers, low vision aids
