Assistance to make schools more accessible

The Inclusive Schools Fund supports small innovative building projects to meet the educational and social needs of all children and young people, including those with disabilities and additional needs.

We have developed comprehensive professional practice guides to support schools to identify, purchase and implement inclusive equipment and assistive technology that will best meet the needs of their students. These guides include:

The Specialist School Activity Boost provides funding to Victorian Government specialist schools and supported inclusion schools for activities such as arts, sports, cultural and social programs.

The Program for Students with Disabilities gives government schools extra funding to help them support students with disability and high needs.
