Professional development from experts is available across the state to support staff to delve deeper into the Victorian Curriculum F-10.
Teachers who develop strong, relevant teaching and learning programs make a real difference to students.
Facilitated by Specialist Teachers, the VCAA's Statewide Professional Learning Sessions provide great opportunities for teachers to examine and enhance their understanding of a specific curriculum area.
Teachers can attend face to face sessions, participate online or requests a session for the network or school cluster.
There is no cost to register for any of the sessions and funding is available to support teacher participation from Victorian government schools.
Teachers from Catholic and independent schools are also encouraged to attend.

The professional development opportunities available through the VCAA help create effective teachers who fell confident in embedding relevant assessment strategies into their curriculum plan so they can monitor student learning and make adjustments to their teaching strategies as required.
