Tutor Learning Initiative tutor practice survey

Tutors are invited to complete the short survey by 9 September 2022

Tutors are invited to complete the Tutor Learning Initiative (TLI) tutor practice survey, a module within the annual School Staff Survey, which is being released later in August. The survey will help us learn more about how the TLI is supporting students and teachers.

The TLI commenced in 2021 to support students who struggled most in remote and flexible learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative proved successful in helping to improve student outcomes and was extended into 2022.

The TLI gives Victorian government schools and low-fee non-government schools funding to provide targeted support for each student, tailored to suit their learning needs and help them catch up on key skills in numeracy and literacy.

A tutor practice survey was undertaken in 2021, which provided valuable insights into the program. Once again, we would like to hear from tutors about their experience with the TLI in 2022.

How to access the survey

The survey will be included as a core module within the annual School Staff Survey. Staff will soon receive information about how to access the School Staff Survey.

Start time and date: 9 am Monday 22 August 2022
End time and date: 5 pm Friday 9 September 2022.

Participation is voluntary and we appreciate your time and effort in taking part.

What will be done with the information you share

Survey results will support the department’s evaluation of the TLI.
