Education expert and former principal Mary Jean Gallagher shares her top tips for improving teaching practice.
Dr Mary Jean Gallagher — who led the successful reform of Canada's Ontario school system — is a critical friend of the Department, working with Victorian school leaders and teachers to help solve issues facing schools that impact student outcomes.
'As a visitor to your school system over the past 11 months, I can sense a building momentum, a renewed focus on student and teacher learning, and a sense of teamwork in the pursuit of an important set of goals,' said Mary Jean.
'Victorian schools are good schools, and they are getting better.'
