Salut, je m'appelle Gilles, et j'habite à Lyon. C'est facile de se déplacer à Lyon, parce qu'il y a beaucoup de moyens publiques.
Je prends le tram pour aller à l'école, parce que mon collège est assez loin.
Papa travaille en ville, donc il prend le métro.
Mon meilleur ami s'appelle Jean-Paul. Il habite près de moi; je vais chez lui à pied.
La circulation à Lyon est très dense, donc nous utilisons la voiture seulement pour aller chez mes grands-parents à Saint-Étienne.
La dimanche je vais au marché en bus. Mon frère a 19 ans et il a une moto. Quelquefois je vais en moto avec lui aux grands magasins.
En été nous allons en Grèce en avion pour les vacances. J'aime beaucoup les plages en Grèce. À Pâques nous prenons le train pour aller visiter ma tante à Paris. Paris, c'est cool, mais je préfère Lyon!

Hi, my name is Gilles and I live in Lyon. It's easy to get around Lyon, because there is a lot of public transport.
I catch the tram to go to school, because it's pretty far.
Dad works in the centre of town, so he goes by subway.
My best friend is Jean-Paul. He lives near me; I go to his place on foot.
Traffic in Lyon is very heavy, so we use the car only to visit my grandparents in Saint-Étienne.
On Sundays I go to the market by bus. My brother is 19 and he has a motorbike. Sometimes I go by bike with him to the shopping mall.
In summer we go to Greece by plane for our holidays. I love the beaches in Greece. At Easter we get the train to go visit my aunt in Paris. Paris is cool, but I prefer Lyon!
