Principals and school staff must follow the OHS Consultation and Communication Policy, OHS Consultation and Communication Procedure and Resource section which are available in the Policy and Advisory Library (PAL).

The Consultation and Communication section outlines the arrangements that are to be developed and implemented across all departmental workplaces. This will ensure that necessary Occupational Health and Safety information is regularly communicated and employees are consulted on issues and allowed to contribute to decisions that may impact on their health and safety.

Department employees are encouraged to provide feedback on draft OHS Management System documents on the Health and Safety Consultation webpage.

The Department's health and safety representatives (HSR) can access the Health and Safety Representative Collaboration page to connect with other HSRs.
