A range of calculators and ready reckoners have been developed to help simplify the calculations of some employee entitlements. A basic knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel may be an advantage, but is not necessary. If asked 'do you want to enable macros?', select Yes and check that the relevant options are enabled on Microsoft Excel. Depending on the version of Microsoft Excel this is done as follows:
- open Excel
- select Tools on the menu bar
- Select Add Ins from the drop down menu
- ensure Analysis Tool Pack and Analysis Tool Pack - VBA options are checked
- click OK
