As part of the ongoing evaluation, early childhood education professionals are invited to complete a survey to help shape the future of education.
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), in partnership with the Department, is leading an evaluation of Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) 2016 implementation.
As part of the first round of data collection, feedback from early childhood professionals is required to help shape the evaluation. You can provide your thoughts through the online survey
Your feedback and opinions will provide valuable information about the implementation of the VEYLDF and how it has impacted your practice. The survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete
The purpose of the project is to evaluate the extent to which the VEYLDF (2016) revisions have been effectively communicated to the sector. It will also evaluate the extent to which early childhood professionals have incorporated the VEYLDF (2016) into their practice.
Synergistiq, a research consultancy, has been engaged to undertake the evaluation, which began in November 2019 and will run until December 2020. The final evaluation report will be available on the VCAA website from February 2021.
Data collection for the evaluation project involves an online survey, key stakeholder interviews, and regional forums.
This project has received approval from Research in School and Early Childhood (Reference: 2019_004265).
