Assessment practices to support continuity of learning
The surveys and focus groups are part of an evaluation of assessment practices to support children’s continuity of learning as they transition from kindergarten to school.
The evaluation is seeking input from kindergartens, schools and families through participation in surveys, focus groups and interviews on what information is shared between early childhood teachers and Foundation teachers to best support children’s learning and development. This work will also inform the future alignment between the TLDS and the newly developed
Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool.
