The Victorian Government is investing in kindergarten programs for all three-year-olds.
This exciting initiative is being progressively rolled out across Victoria, starting in six regional local government areas (LGA) in 2020 and an additional 15 LGAs in 2021.

Early childhood education workforce
The Victorian Government is also investing in scholarships and incentives for early childhood teachers and educators.
There is up to $9,000 available for early childhood teachers to relocate and teach in a location where kindergarten programs for three-year-olds are rolling out in 2020.
There is also an early childhood Aboriginal pathway scholarship for eligible Aboriginal people wanting to become an early childhood educator, early childhood teacher or upskill.
