eduPass allows you to register, set up and manage your password, secret questions and answers, and other details. It is your pass to the Department’s services, giving you entry into the secure systems and applications you’re granted access to.
Students and eduPass
As a student from a government school, you will receive a letter from your school about how you can register. This letter contains your personalised UserID and a temporary password, which are needed for registration.

Parents and eduPass
As a Parent/Guardian of a child from a government school, you will receive a letter from your school about how you can register.

Casual Staff and School Visitors and eduPass
Casual staff and school visitors, who need to use DET secure systems and applications, will need to register with the school eduPass administrator.
Casual Staff and School Visitors will receive a letter from their school with important information and instructions to activate their accounts.
Department Staff and eduPass
Department staff will use eduPass to access their account management. This can also be accessed directly through eduPay, eduWeb and eduGate. All online training materials, learning guides, fast cards and resources can be accessed
Community members and eduPass
Community members will use eduPass to access the eduPass Portal. Here they can register for an eduPass account, manage their account and also access the eduPass portal for delegated administrator tasks.
