Enquire now for Free TAFE - the new initiative making 30 priority TAFE courses and 18 pre-apprenticeship courses free from 1 January 2019.
New investments in road and rail projects, new schools and hospitals, support for Victorians living with disability and action to curb family violence has created greater demand for skilled workers in Victoria.
You can learn the skills required for these in-demand jobs at TAFE. Free TAFE will reduce the financial barrier for students wanting to train in courses that lead to the occupations that are needed most by employers in the Victorian economy.
Free TAFE will initially be available for 20 priority non-apprenticeship courses statewide. A further 10 priority courses will be confirmed in time for students to enrol for the 2019 training year.
A further 18 Victorian Government-subsidised apprenticeship pathway courses (sometimes called pre-apprenticeships) will also be free under the program.
TAFE institutes - including universities that offer TAFE courses - across Victoria are taking enrolments now for Free TAFE courses that begin in 2019.
For more information about the courses available, eligibility requirements and to enquire see the Free TAFE website.
