Register for the Premiers' Reading Challenge
Early childhood (from birth to the year before school)
Parents/guardians and early childhood services can register young children to take part in the Challenge. See
Register a young child to take part in the Challenge.
You don't need to record book titles online but can keep a record of books that have been read together. One month before the challenge ends you'll receive an email asking you to login and confirm that 40 books have been read.
School-aged students (Prep to Year 10)
If your school is participating in this year's challenge, your school will register you.
Find out if your school is participating in the challenge.
If your school isn't participating, or if you’re home schooled, you can still take part. Your parents or guardians can
register you as a home-based reader.
Challenge coordinators – logging in
There is a new application for managing the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge and you will need a new username and password (your 2019 login details will no longer work).
Further information for coordinators on how to log in to the Challenge application is available at:
Use your eight digit TO number and password to log in (after your principal has set you up as a coordinator in the application).
Use your C number and password to log in (after your principal has set you up as a coordinator in the application).
Ask your principal to request that an EduPass account is created for you to use (if your school has not done so already).
Challenge coordinator training
The Department holds online PRC application training sessions for coordinators and teachers.
