    Event Details

Songbirds Primary is a musical adventure workshop for children aged between 6-8 years old. It is a sharing experience for each class to explore the musical building blocks of rhythm, melody and beat. The session will explore a special theme while developing the musical, physical and creative processes surrounding music making. There will be live performances, fun with instruments, dance and lots of singing!

The workshops will be led by Clare Zabrowarny who is an early childhood educator and violinist. She has extensive experience teaching violin and classroom music and has developed a unique approach to creating engaging musical experiences for young children. Clare is passionate about inspiring young children to appreciate music, and to be able to express themselves through an art form. Clare holds a Bachelor of Music and a Graduate Diploma of Education, and is qualified to teach music using the Kodaly and Orff methods.

The Centre will present three workshops from 23-25 October 2017.
