Ciao, mi chiamo Luca, e abito a Genova. Mi piace la mia città perché non è difficile andare in giro. Ci sono tanti mezzi pubblici.
Ogni giorno vado a scuola in motorino. I ragazzi di 14 anni possono guidare un motorino. Il mio amico Marco ha 18 anni, e viene a trovarmi in motocicletta. È forte la sua moto!
Mamma va al lavoro in bicicletta. Secondo lei, la bici è più 'verde' dell'auto.
Il traffico a Genova è pesante, quindi usiamo l'auto solo per andare a trovare i nonni a Savona.
La domenica vado al mercato a piedi. A volte prendo l'autobus per andare al centro commerciale.
Se fa bel tempo andiamo in traghetto a Riomaggiore. È un paesino bellissimo. Però in estate la mia destinazione preferita è la Grecia. Ci andiamo in aereo. Mi piace anche andare a trovare mia sorella a Roma. Ci vado in treno ogni due mesi.

Hi, my name is Luca and I live in Genova. I like my city because it's easy to get around. There is a lot of public transport.
Every day I go to school by scooter. 14-year-olds can drive a scooter. My friend Marco is 18, and visits me by motorbike. His bike is cool!
Mum goes to work by bicycle. She thinks a bike is more 'green' than a car.
Traffic in Genova is very heavy, so we use the car only to visit my grandparents in Savona.
On Sundays I go to the market on foot. Sometimes I catch the bus to go to the shopping mall.
If it's nice weather we catch the ferry to Riomaggiore. It's a very beautiful place. In summer, though, my favourite destination is Greece. We go there by plane. I also like going to visit my sister in Rome. I go there by train every two months.
