The Department is presently undertaking a targeted enforcement campaign to ensure contracted registered training organisations fully comply with the terms of their contracts to deliver Victorian Government-funded training.
This campaign was a key recommendation of the Review of Quality Assurance in Victoria’s VET System. The Victorian Government has agreed to implement all 19 recommendations from the review. See: Review of Quality Assurance in Victoria’s VET System
The enforcement campaign began on 1 July 2015. In serious cases of non-compliance the Department can terminate funding contracts, if, for example:
- A training provider lodged claims for training that did not take place;
- Incentives were offered for students to enrol in training; or
- The training provider engaged in unauthorised sub-contracting.
Training providers with contracts that have been terminated as part of this campaign are listed below. This list will be updated as the targeted enforcement campaign continues.
