On 12 October 2015, the Victorian Department of Education and Training terminated the 2014-16 VET Funding Contract of Australian Management Academy (AMA). AMA's contract was terminated following an independent review. The review found a number of issues including serious non-compliances.
As a result of AMA’s Contract being terminated, it is no longer authorised to offer or conduct training services on behalf of the Victorian Government.
Advice for Students
Each student affected by this termination will be contacted in writing by the Department of Education and Training. This letter will provide students with further information about their training and what they should do next.
If you have not yet completed your training and wish to continue your studies elsewhere, your eligibility for government subsidised training will not be impacted as the Department has arranged for affected students to continue training with the Victorian TAFE of their choice. If you have successfully completed elements of your training, you should be able to receive Credit Transfers from your new training provider in recognition of the skills you have already received.
In the meantime, if you are concerned about your training with AMA, you can contact the Victorian Government Contact Centre on 1300 842 754 or email your concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org
