Private Providers
There is a significant level of higher education delivered by private providers in Victoria. Through the Victorian Higher Education and Regulation Division, you can apply for:
- Authorisation to become an approved private provider (section 11(2) of the Act)
- Accreditation of a higher education course (section 11 of the Act)
- Mutual Recognition (PDF - 31Kb)of a higher education course accredited in a State or Territory other than Victoria (section 11 of the Act)
- Endorsement of course for delivery to overseas students endorsed (section 6 of the Act)
- Approval to operate as a university in Victoria (section 10 of the Act)
