American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) - an international non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing science around the world. The web site provides information about its programs; membership and membership activities; the AAAS journal Science; as well as links to many other scientific newsletters, books and reports.
Australian Academy of Science (AAS) - produces NOVA, an educational website for schools, reference books, works on the history of science in Australia and a variety of reports and conference proceedings. The Academy also publishes the Primary Connections, a program that focuses on the teaching and learning of science through literacy, and conducts associated professional learning.
Australian Science Innovations – ASI provides teachers and students throughout the nation with opportunities to enhance their scientific knowledge, understanding and skill, through the delivery of a range of programs.
Deakin University - provides activities grouped in order of increasing sophistication within major conceptual areas of science. They provide a bank of activities that can be readily clustered into learning sequences, and discuss the science conceptual knowledge and strategies for supporting student learning in each topic area. Student misconceptions are also identified.
