VCAA Personal Learning assessment maps - Levels 3–6 (http://vels.vcaa.vic.edu.au/assessment/maps/maps_domain/personal/index.html) - a tool to help teachers assess student work using the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. They provide a range of annotated student work samples which can be used in conjunction with the progression points to help teachers make consistent and balanced judgments about student achievement.

Multi domain assessment Sample task 11 - Reckless Earth - focuses on personal learning and geography at Level 6. The sample task is for students to investigate the impact of a geological disaster on a population. In groups they follow an inquiry-based approach and use a variety of resources to research five key questions.
