Through a partnership with The Learning Federation (TLF) and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD), all government schools have access to digital content resources, including resources known as learning objects.
Learning objects can be incorporated into existing teaching activities or courses. They can offer students new and exciting opportunities for learning.
Schools with a school intranet can copy learning objects onto the school server to be accessed by students. If your school does not have an intranet yet, learning objects can be copied to a network drive or onto individual computer hard disks for student access.
Having learning objects available in your school supports you to make greater routine use of ICT for teaching and learning. The flexible nature of learning objects gives teachers the opportunity to integrate ICT into all subject areas and year levels.
Digilearn delivers exciting digital learning resources for use in the classroom, including The Learning Federation's learning objects and digital resources.
Teachers can use their Edumail login and password to get access to Digilearn from within the school and outside of school.
