History Council of Victoria (http://www.historycouncilvic.org.au) - The History Council of Victoria is a public advisory body sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Training. The web site provides information about the Council, Council events and specific information for schools including VCE resources and history roadshows. Program offered through the Strategic Partnerships Program: History Roadshow.

History Teachers' Association of Victoria (HTAV) (http://www.htav.asn.au) - supports history teachers. The web site provides information about membership to the association, upcoming professional development opportunities, publications for sale, student lectures and various other resources and competitions. Programs offered through the Strategic Partnerships Program: Primary History and Humanities teaching and learning program; Post compulsory History and Humanities teaching and learning program.

Museum Victoria (http://museumvictoria.com.au/education) Museum Victoria provides a wide range of educational material and programs for teachers.

Social Education Victoria (SEV) (http://www.sev.asn.au) - SEV supports teacher of History, Economics, Politics and Civics and Citizenship. The web site provides information about membership to the association, VCE and general SOSE resources (including audio files of VCE student revision lectures), forthcoming professional development opportunities, news and information about Civics and Citizenship education, discussion groups, publications, and membership information about the Social Education Association of Australia (SEAA). Sovereign Hill Museums Association (http://www.sovereignhill.com.au) - recreates Ballarat’s first ten years after the discovery of gold. The web site provides general information for visitors and detailed information for teachers. This includes the education program, classroom resources, membership to the Sovereign Hill Museum Association and professional development for teachers.
