Sexuality Education in Victorian Schools
|
‘Give children the chance to be children again, without the worries that they may be pregnant or have an STI, to have all the correct information needed to assist them with difficult and rational, important decisions. Give teenagers the chance to be teenagers.’ (From a letter written by a Victorian secondary school student, 2007 – used with permission). |
This website provides a range of learning and teaching resources for Victorian primary and secondary schools.
All materials support a comprehensive, whole-school learning approach to sexuality education.
Catching On sexuality education training and curriculum materials have been provided to Victorian schools since 2004. Since this time, Catching On has become the phrase used to identify this Department’s sexuality education resources. Catching On resources have been made possible through the partnership between this Department and the Department of Human Services.
Further Catching On resources are currently under development. Find out more about Catching On resources and programs in About Sexuality Education.
