This section identifies current research in the area of Health and Physical Education.

Review of Physical and Sport Education for Victorian Schools (PDF - 4.2Mb) - was commissioned in 1993 by the Minister for Education and chaired by Olympic marathon runner Steve Moneghetti. The review was an important first step in developing a comprehensive strategy to improve student’s participation in physical and sport education. In the Moneghetti Report are nineteen key recommendations covering curriculum, teacher training, school sport and special initiatives.
