VCAA English assessment maps  - a tool to help teachers assess student work using the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. They provide a range of annotated student work samples which can be used in conjunction with the progression points to help teachers make consistent and balanced judgments about student achievement.

Multi domain assessment task: Sample task 4 – The story of me - focuses on English and thinking processes at Level 5.

Multi domain assessment task : Sample task 9 – Magazine interview - focuses on English and thinking processes at Level 6.

On Demand Testing  - an online resource for English, mathematics and science teachers to use when assessing for a variety of purposes. Tests are designed to link to the curriculum and standards. This tool can be administered to a single student or a whole class.
