This section identifies current research in the area of arts education.

Paper No.19 June 2009  Partnerships between schools and the professional arts sector (PDF - 1.6Mb) – This report is the result of a research partnership between Arts Victoria and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.  The report provides a literacy review of national and international research in this area of school/arts sector partnerships as well as a number of recent examples of school/arts partnerships undertaken in Victorian Schools.

Education and the Arts Strategy - the Australia Council's three-year Education and the Arts Strategy (2004 -2007) is the result of careful consideration of community feedback received in early 2004. The Council has chosen to focus on enhancing the arts experiences of school-aged children and young people.
