The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) has compiled a number of resources to help school leadership teams implement the report cards.

An article about the report cards for inclusion in a newsletter to parents

DEECD developed an article that schools may choose to include in their school newsletter to help inform parents about the report cards.

In plain English, the article describes the major benefits of the report cards. It also describes how parents can get more involved in supporting their child at home and how students can play a role in thinking about their progress at school.

Principles for student reports

The Schools Assistance (Learning Together – Achievement through Choice and Opportunity) Act 2004 (the Act), was passed in December 2004. Section 15 and 32 of the Act outline the principles for enhanced student reporting that education authorities must commit to in their funding agreements.
