Strategic Partnerships Program

The Strategic Partnerships Program provides funding of $5.2m annually over the 2009-11 triennium to 83 community, cultural and professional development associations. The funding is used to deliver student learning programs and professional learning for teachers that are linked to Departmental priorities and initiatives.

This section includes information on:

  • Strategic Partners – A substantial number of programs are currently underway, delivered through a diverse group of organisations.
  • Funding Process – Current funding for the 2012-14 triennium is based on supporting programs focused on learning outcomes for students and teachers.
  • Advisory Group – The Strategic Partnerships Program Advisory Group provides input on strategic direction, support and feedback.
  • Networks – Six networks have been established for the 2009-11 triennium. Each organisation seeking funding will need to belong to at least one network
  • Professional Learning – The Strategic Partnerships Program supports the professional learning of the agencies delivering programs. As a result a number of reports and conference papers are made available. To further support the funded organisations, templates for report formulation and an example of qualitative report presented at the All Networks conference in May 2007 is also provided.
