The following organisations provide information about Human Rights, resources and strategies for Human Rights Education in schools.
The VEOHRC provides on-line education services for equality and human rights, undertakes projects, research and implements a compliance checklist for Human Rights implementation. Targeting the upper primary years, participating students are eligible to receive a certificate of recognition.
The website also offers a resource, Safe Schools, dedicated to students, their families, teachers and school leaders. This section presents information about the equal opportunity law and includes strategies to ensure and promote students’ well being. Teachers will find curriculum materials and information about what ’equal opportunity’ means in practice.

HREOC provides education and public awareness programs for schools, workplaces and community settings.
It conducts awareness campaigns, offers legal advice, helps resolve complaints of discrimination or breeches of human rights under federal law and holds public inquiries. On-line resources in human rights education for teachers and students have been developed.

HREA is an international non-governmental organisation that supports human rights learning, the training of activists and professionals, the development of educational materials and programming and community-building through on-line technologies.
