Data is collected twice a year from government schools concerning new arrival students within the following periods:
Period A: 30 November of the previous year to 30 June of the current year
Period B: 1 July of the current year to 31 October of the current year
This data is collected electronically using CASES21. The shortcut Send New Arrivals Data to DoE is located in Students/Census/Processes.
Each year a Circular is distributed to schools giving further information on these collections.
