Grants are available for schools to implement projects to enhance student knowledge about the misuse of alcohol and other drugs or for building resilience and self esteem in students. To implement their project schools are required to use a Commonwealth drug education resource. For information about Commonwealth resources, see:Resilience Education and Drug Information (http:www.redi.gov.au).
Other drug education resources available on this website may also assist with project implementation.
Schools applying for funding need to form a partnership with a community agency to assist with the implementation of their project. Project applications should focus on strategies to address issues in the school and community which build relationships between student, parents and local community agencies.
