- Knowledge Bank Online Events - The Department's online events program throughout 2009 offers learning and professional development opportunities and seminars/events for Victorian educators organised around a free online virtual classroom space. Participants only need internet access and a microphone headset to participate in events or conduct their own virtual meetings, saving on travel and time and allowing educators to access experts worldwide. Information and training in using virtual classrooms is provided on the website.
- Cybersafety Outreach- Professional Development for Educators - see Victorian dates and a registration form for the free, interactive, one-day professional learning workshops for primary and secondary educators across Australia. Register now for the free 2009 Cybersafety Outreach workshops in Victoria during term 3 and 4.
- The Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association (VITTA) Annual Conference is a key event in Victoria to support ICT educators. The 2009 VITTA conference "Slide to Open Digital Learning" takes place from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 November, 2009. Registrations open in August, 2009 and early bird registrations are available.
