Program and student groupings

This phase involves an audit of the current curriculum provision and includes an analysis of all relevant information to build up an understanding of the learner profile. This sets the context for future curriculum planning that will best support student learning.

Victorian Essential Learning Standards - provides professional learning activities which can be used to audit curriculum programs or units of work. 

Principles of Learning and Teaching P-12

The Principles of Learning and Teaching website provides a range of information, resources and professional learning activities to support schools in planning and implementing effective learning and teaching activities for students.

Assessment

The Assessment Professional Learning Modules focus on strengthening teachers' professional knowledge, skills and understandings around assessment. Each module comprises learning activities, a presentation, professional reading, samples and stories, additional web links and references, and advisory notes for a facilitator.

Programs provides links to information and resources that support the inclusion of a range of student programs in curriculum planning and implementation.

Senior Secondary and Youth Transitions

The Senior Secondary and Youth Transitions web site includes information on education and training options available to students during their senior secondary years, including information on a range of programs and tools to assist students to navigate through these options and to support them in their transitions.
