Years 10 to 12 Assessment

The final two years of secondary schooling are critical to the direction that students will take in the wider world, and assessment enables teachers and trainers to identify the area best suited to their capabilities.

There are a number of assessment processes that apply to the different paths that students take at this stage of learning.

Scored Assessment for VCE VET programs (http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vet/programs/scoredasses.html) - Certain programs within the VCE VET course are assessed for a Study Score.

VCE Exams and Assessment (http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/exams/index.html) - Covers all aspects of examination under the VCE, including the exam timetable, exams and assessment reports, exam advice, statistical moderation, the General Achievement Test and special provision for assessment.

VCAL - Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vcal/index.html) - Assessment information for schools, providers, parents, students and employers on what’s required to complete the learning outcomes for VCAL units.

Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (http://www.vtac.edu.au/) - Coordinates the selection system for tertiary education on behalf of participating universities, TAFE institutes and independent tertiary colleges. VTAC provides information to help students understand tertiary entrance requirements and plan their VCE program accordingly.
