These reflective tools enable students to provide feedback on their work and performance. It also includes strategies for teachers to increase the wait time when asking questions in class.

Which Face? (PDF - 192Kb) - a tool that allows early years students to give immediate, non-verbal feedback on their competency and understanding level after a lesson.

Feedback Boxes (PDF - 233Kb) - used to guide students in their thinking about their independent work and to assist them to reflect on their individual performance.

Traffic light tool - How do we know what our students understand? (PDF - 53Kb) -this tool helps develop a way of determining when students understand, are unsure, or have no idea about what is being explored in their classroom.
