This Self Assessment tool will help you to identify the assessment experience and expertise, of yourself as a teacher and/or of groups of teachers in relation to the Assessment Advice.
When you have finished, the computer will produce a list of the activities in the Assessment Professional Learning modules that will best suit the needs of teachers in your context. You will need to print out that page to keep a record of which activities you will need to do. In some schools a Facilitator will need to see a copy of each teacher's results to work out an overall program of activities that meets the group's needs.
With the interactive tool, there are 5 parts - you need to select your level (Novice, Apprentice, Capable or Expert) for each of these parts. It is expected that you will be able to show evidence to support your claim to the level of experience and expertise, if required. At the bottom of each page you click Proceed to move through the sections of the Self Assessment Tool.
If you prefer to do this Self Assessment on paper, you can download the paper-based Self Assessment Tool (PDF - 70KB).
