Assessment and Reporting Conference 2005
The Assessment and Reporting Conference was held 21 October 2005 in Melbourne. It focused on using data to inform learning and teaching, enhancing the quality of school assessment and reporting practices and developing an assessment culture to improve student learning.

Andreas Schleicher - Head of the Indicators and Analysis Division, OECD Directorate of Education in Paris, examined the use of assessment data by systems, schools and teachers and explained the recently released OECD data with particular reference to Australia.
Margaret Forster - Research Director, Assessment and Reporting, ACER, provided a keynote presentation which looked at how to use assessment and reporting processes to enrich learning and teaching experiences.
