Workplace learning programs allow students to experience life in the workplace and observe the way different jobs are done in the industry they have chosen. A positive workplace learning experience has enduring benefits not just for the student and their family, but also for the organisation with which they are placed and the people who take an interest in them while they are ‘at work’.
