Make It Real Game (MIRG)

(Core activities – 15 to 17 hours minimum)

Year 5 and 6 students:

  • take on an adult work role, create a town & suburbs & explore what makes a town work;
  • identify services and businesses, choose housing and other lifestyle options and identify transport needs; and
  • form a small company and carry out an assignment as a business team in which they explore other cultural realities in the context of developing an advertising campaign to promote another country.

Although targeted at Year 5 and 6 students, the game can be delivered to other year levels.
