  • explore the relationship between income, lifestyle, choices and necessities;
  • experience job loss and job change and learn skills to deal with this and find new work;
  • learn how a person's career is based on the everyday choices and decisions an individual makes;
  • explore the importance of transferable skills, self-knowledge, lifelong learning and the importance of career planning in achieving satisfying, fulfilling lives;
  • apply the skills they have learnt in role play to their personal situation; and
  • complete self assessment tasks and identify the next steps they need to take in their own career planning

Although targeted at Year 9 and 10 students, the game can be delivered to other year levels and has been used successfully with VCAL students.
