Regional Disability Liaison Officers (RDLO) and Disability Coordination Officers (DCO) - Information to assist people with a disability move from school into training and higher education, and into their chosen career. Includes contact details for RDLOs and DCOs across Australia.

Futures for Young Adults (FFYA) - Program providing information, advice and support for up to three years to young people with disabilities leaving school. FFYA supports young people as they make the transition from school to adult life and assists them to plan ahead, set goals and make informed decisions about their future and the range of post-school options they want to explore.

ACE National Network - ACE National Network, the peak body for Australia's Disability Employment Network, includes information for disability employment professionals, people with a disability looking for specialised employment support and employers investigating the business benefits of employing people with a disability.

Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) - Information about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies, accommodation and support services for people with disabilities in post secondary education and training. Services primarily target teachers, disability practitioners, learning support staff, researchers and policy makers, and some resources that may be useful for students.

Marnabek School Managed Individual Pathways case study - Practical ideas on helping students who need extra support to negotiate work experience and pathway planning, and parents who are anxious about what the future may hold for their children. Marnebek is a Special School in Cranbourne catering for students with mild, moderate and profound intellectual disabilities.

Work experience for Victorian students– Before undertaking work experience students need to view the video Workwise – Workplace Safety for Students, and complete safe@work the occupational health and safety general and industry specific modules. Students with disabilities should also complete A job well done.

Job Access - Workplace solutions for people with a disability. A one-stop shop for all matters relating to employment of people with disabilities, with information for job seekers and employees, and employers and managers.

Disability Action Plan – Victoria - Department of Human Services Disability Action Plan 2005-2008 outlines strategies to improve the participation of people with a disability in the public sector workforce. Key areas are employment, information and communication, consultation and decision making, physical access to buildings and facilities, staff awareness and understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, and accessible programs and services.

Adult Education in the Community - Projects that developed assessment and teaching tools for learners with specific disabilities and training programs that assist people with a disability to engage in vocational education and training.

TAFE toolboxes - Resources, suggested learning strategies and material to support online delivery of recognised training packages for vocational and technical education.

eWORKS - Provides e-learning strategic advisory and consultancy services to manage or coordinate major change projects that successfully implement the application of ICT to increase participation and improve learning outcomes in the VET and ACE (Adult and Community Education) sectors.

Special Needs Associations - Websites for associations for special needs groups eg Association for Children with a Disability.

Reach out - Reach Out Magazine is a Web magazine, and a meeting place for people with disabilities from all over the world. As well as an online version of Reach Out Magazine, the subscribers area contains live chat, personals, message boards, members only mailing list and more.

Choosing your path – Disclosure: A personal decision - Information about options and pathways that people with disabilities can use in disclosing their disability in post secondary education and employment environments. The role and responsibilities of employers and educators in relation to disclosure.

Education standards - Disability Discrimination Act - Education Standards website to help people with disabilities, their associates, and education deliverers understand the Standards. The information is provided in plain English, AUSLAN and audio format.

Health and community service careers - Introduces students to the range of occupations in health and community services with information for students, teachers, parents and employers.

Deafstation - British information and news service for the deaf.

Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS) - ACOSS is the national voice for the needs of people affected by poverty and inequality and includes information for people with disabilities.

Helen Mcpherson Smith Trust - Grants to not for profit organisations for innovative initiatives for disabled care and support.

Able Australia Services Provides - Services for people with a range of multiple disabilities including deafblindness.

Willing and Able Mentoring (WAM) - Program matching job seekers or tertiary students who have a disability with mentors in leading organisations in the job seekers/students' field of interest.
